You would like to buy a boat, but you do not know precisely what kind of boat? Where? How much? We are glad to help you find your boat and buy it.

Barnautica helps you draft your personal wish-list. We do this by means of a so-called criteria-model. Thus we design the profile of a boat that meets your wishes. By this profile we can see, whether we have a suitable boat in our brokerage programme. If Barnautica does not have a suitable boat in our programme, we will gladly embark on a search on your behalf.

We lend you access to a great network of yacht brokers within the Netherlands and beyond, so that we know earlier when boats are put up for sale or lie in “silent sale”. We are active on the market every day and thus can react with better direction and speed to the offers that are put up. We employ our knowledge and expertise in order to find you’re the boat of your "dreams".

When we have found your ship we will support you as best we can in the purchase of the yacht. Barnautica helps you in determining your bid price. We will be at your side throughout the bidding process. We will conduct negotiations and set up a sales agreement. You can depend on us to arrange everything necessary for the purchase of your yacht.

For the financial transactions we put our third party account at your disposal – thus ensuring safe payment. We have direct access to the maritime register; hence can control the registration of a ship online. We are glad to assist you in making changes to registrations or registering your yacht. Barnautica delivers in accordance with the terms and conditions of the N.B.M.S. (Nederlandse Bond voor Makelaars in Schepen – Dutch association of yacht brokers).

Costs of brokering a purchase:

If we search for a boat on your behalf, find it and buy it, we will invoice an agent’s fee of 4 % plus VAT of the ship’s price incl. VAT. The minimal fee for brokering a purchase is € 1,250.- incl. VAT.

What we do:

  • Search diverse media as well as yacht broker’s network
  • gathering information
  • inspections (max. 2 yachts)
  • bidding and negotiating
  • setting up the final sales agreement (contract)
  • supervising the signing of the contract and delivery
  • accompanying on inspection and test-trip

We could also “just” conduct the search on your behalf. For a “search-only” contract we invoice € 595.- incl. VAT. If you buy a ship that is already in our programme, then we will not charge a brookarage fee.
