Committed, reliable and enthusiastic. These are the values we hold in high regard in the sale of your motor- or sailing boat. Your yacht can remain in its berth, enabling you to take it out whenever you wish as well as saving on the costs of a berth in a sales port. We arrange inspections and test-trips only after consultation and in agreement with you. We advise you on how best to leave the boat. You do not have to be present during inspections and customer visits.

Before Barnautica takes your yacht into her brokerage programme we would like to know about the technical and general state of repair of your boat and about your ideas and goals regarding the sale. These insights we gain in an informal, non-binding discussion with you and a thorough inspection of the yacht. We ask you to pass on to us all relevant information concerning the ship in order to enable us to give potential buyers a comprehensive picture.

As soon as we know in what kind of state the yacht is and we have agreed on an asking price as well as the strategy we want to follow, we take the boat into our brokerage programme. We sign a brokerage agreement which sets out clearly the understanding we have reached and what you can expect of Barnautica.

You have access to every facility necessary for the sale of your yacht. For safe financial transactions we are pleased to offer you our third party account. We have direct access to the maritime register allowing us online. Barnautica delivers according to the terms and conditions of the N.B.M.S. (de Nederlandse Bond voor Makelaarsin Schepen – Dutch yacht brokers association), of which we are an extraordinary member.

Costs for brokering:

You can put the sale of your yacht into our hands completely or you can decide to let us arrange certain parts of the sales process. We prefer to look after the whole process of selling your yacht. Our agent’s fee amounts to 6% excluding VAT of the actual sales price. Our minimal fee for brokering a sale is € 2,950.- incl. VAT.

If you bring a buyer, who we do not already know, you will receive a 10% discount on the agent’s fee.
